and they look very pretty.
I hope you like your dress. If it doesn't fit
in anyway send it back for a larger size but I
hope that it is just right. I tried it on and
it was too large for me. I like it very much
and think it just looks like Mamma. I can
hardly wait to see you in it, but until then
I will be satisfied with knowing that you
have something nice to wear when you
really want to. We did it just because we
wanted to, and remembered the many dresses
you have given us while you have done with
out. We love you - that's why.
Say I don't know what to think of my sporty
Sis. She'll be putting me on the shelf for sure.
To think of her going with Dewey is a little be-
yond my imagination and I have been told
that I have a good imagination too. Just so she
doesn't cut me out when I come home it is
all right. But if she started in on old
bachelors like — she'll be robbing old age
for sure.
I do not know Carmen Norton. Is he a
brother to Karl. Is he older or younger? Karl
said he was leaving soon, but that he
didn't know where he would go. He may
have gone. I received his last letter a week
ago today (Saturday). I hope to get another one
soon. If he goes to Salt Lake he will probably
be home for Christmas, and even if Reva
is home to it will mean a dance or two
for me.
