Mrs. Vivian Bannan,
Kingston, Utah.
Dear Mamma:
Sister brought your letter to
me when she came from town
this morning. I am so glad
you enjoyed your pine nuts and
knI ow from past experience
that a 'Hershire' always finds
its place. Something like that
helps to pass the lonesome
evenings. Kingston best of
anything I know.
When you look at the flowers
think of me because I admired
them so much and tried
to pack them so that they
would carry alright. If you
will put a little ammonia
in the water and then clip
the ends off a little once in
a while they will keep almost
indefinitely. There are some of the
same kind in the library table.
I was reading one of Otis's old
letters last Sunday. It seems
queer that he should have been
writing so often and then
break off sharp. I am wonder-
ing if something has happened
to him or if he ran off in
his new car and forgot the world.
Yes dear, I will send my
coat over Monday. I believe she
can use it by just heming
it up. I have worn it all fall
because I hated to get my
red one out, it is rather worn
and dilapidated. However, I am
going to clean it up tomorrow
and I think it will look
better. I can't use my pink
but and coat anymore 'til spring.
I stayed home this morning
and cleaned, while Sister had
the kids vacinated, then came
down town. I must go back now
because there is always lots
to do at night.
Abbie is coming down for dinner
tomorrow. I love you, Zella
