Today’s celebration should be regarded as one of the greatest events in
the history of the B. A. C. That the state sees fit to appropriate money
to build a new gymnasium is an indication that there is a great future in
store for southern Utah—and the B. A. C.

And, not only are we going to mark the spot where our new gymnasium |;
will be erected, but today is the day that we have a chance to have our
parents come to the school and see us as we are in every-day school life.

_A Patron’s day, like this, tends to bring the parents and teachers closer
together, and in this way more good can be accomplished.

Let’s not be on parade today. Let’s act as we have acted every day since
school started. It’s not the irregular, brilliant person who counts in life,
but the steady going person who never falters or wavers.

And so, students, lets show our parents about, and when they go home
they will have the thought left with them, that the B. A. C. is a worthy in-
