Kindex

I had wondered about his sincerity
in the Gospel once or twice too.
Simply because he is rather nervous
and it's hard for him to settle down
to one thing for any great length of time.
 (Unless it's maybe me.)

I asked him about joining the
church, too. He took Holy Communion
in the Catholic Church and went to a
Catholic school for two years when
he was a child.

About the church, he said, "I
had studied a lot about a
lot of religions, and when I
found this one I just knew
it was right. It's like grabbing
at straws, trying to find one to
hold to. Every time you get
ahold of one and start to look
at it it falls apart and turns
to dust in your hands. Then finally
you find one that doesn't fall
apart. One that holds together
 and gets stronger and
closer bound the longer
you examine it. When you
find that you know
that's it, and that you're
always going to hang on to it."
