my mind to dwell on the
future for any girl, and
shut out the love, and
 joys, of the past, that are
past. I would become
useless, should I humor
myself in thinking of
these things. My hope
 for happiness is my
girls. I hope they will
always love and enjoy
coming home. That I
can never hope to make
 it more than half a
home any more.
I hope Clarence will
plan on a week of rest
here with us before he
goes farther.
