I left home that in three months time
that I would be in France it was
just three MOnths to the day from the
time I left home until I arrived in
France.  I enjoyed the trip across the
Water very Much I never got sea
sick as some of the others did the
more the old ship rocked the better
I liked it I believe I Would
like to be a sailor sooner than a
soldier.  but I guess I Will have
to be continte Where I am.  I have
got a pretty good job now.  I am
Working in the stable taking Care
of the horses. I hope I can keep
that job. but We Never know
one day ahead of the other What We

of soldier.  Well Dear Aunt I got a
letter from My Dear MOther yesterday
and believe me that I were more
than glad to hear from her once
More she said that she is feeling
better than she had sone for some
time Which I Were glad to hear
she seems to thing that I am not very
